About me

I'm driven to understand how systems work, from the infrastructure that powers modern networks to the security that protects them.

Currently seeking a Summer 2027 internship in networking, IT, or cybersecurity where I can contribute to real-world systems and further my technical skills.

Through my coursework at Dakota State University, I found myself naturally drawn to networking. What started as an interest quickly grew into a genuine passion as I learned how individual systems connect, communicate, and depend on one another. The more I've learned, the more I've come to appreciate that networking and cybersecurity aren't separate disciplines. The strongest systems are built when reliable infrastructure and thoughtful security work together from the beginning.

Beyond the keyboard, I enjoy photography, fishing, boating, golfing, and spending time with my friends and family. These experiences remind me to slow down, appreciate the details, and continue exploring both close to home and beyond. I hope to spend my life experiencing as much of the world as possible, always looking for new places and perspectives.

Whether I'm discovering a new place, or learning a new technology, I'm driven by the same curiosity to understand how things work and to appreciate the world around me.
